The aim of the conference is to create a favourable environment for the exchange of research, projects and experiences related to martial arts and combat sports (MA&CS) in all their richness and scope.

Based on this aim, the objectives of the conference are as follows:

• To present current studies, research and intervention projects on MA&CS.
• To discuss the current state and challenges of this field of knowledge from a multidisciplinary and global perspective.
• To promote contact between researchers, teachers, coaches and other actors involved in the development of AM&DC.
• To strengthen existing academic collaborative networks in the field of MA&CS.
• To reflect on the contribution of science to the development of MA&CS and how to improve the processes of mutual transfer between science and society.
